– Great minds, 3 minutes, 1 day
On July 16, 2024 you will have the opportunity to get to know research projects, ideas and initiatives with social relevance by young scientists and young professionals. The applicants will publicly present their forward-looking ideas in three minutes at Falling Walls Lab Berlin-Adlershof.
The winner of this preliminary lab will receive a prize money of 500 € offered by IGAFA e. V., an invitation to the Falling Walls Pitches Finale in Berlin on November 7, and the opportunity to participate in the Falling Walls Science Summit from November 7 to 10, 2024.
The Falling Walls Lab Berlin-Adlershof is organized by the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) and the IGAFA.

The Photonics Days 2024 will take place on October 9 and 10 as usual at the WISTA Event Center in Berlin-Adlershof. We are expecting more than 400 participants, including numerous international guests and political celebrities, such as our Senator for Economics, Ms. Giffey, the Brandenburg Minister of Economics, Prof. Dr. Steinbach, and the Dutch Ambassador Mister van Roeden.
There will be two exciting days with 21 sessions, over 100 national and international speakers and an accompanying exhibition with participants from Berlin- Brandenburg, the rest of Germany and our international partners from Poland, the Netherlands and Spain.
